(Thermistor Bridge with Temperature)

Variation of Resistance with Temperature of a Thermistor (Bridge) for measuring change in resistance of Thermistor (Bridge) constant current Voltage source is used to excite the bridge and digital temperature indicator is used to sense the change in temperature. Oil bath arrangement is used for uniform heating of Thermistor.  The voltage drop across Thermistor is studied as a function of temperature. The results can be used to evaluate characteristics of thermistor, p-type or n-type.  The kit is self contained and needs no additional equipment. 

Apparatus Required
  • Thermistor characteristics controller unit with 16x2 digit Alpha numeric LCD display with Backlight.
  • Built-in Digital Temperature indicator using Alpha numeric LCD.
  • Built-in Thermistor Bridge and Constant Current Voltage source for exciting the bridge.
  • Variable Temperature Oil Bath.
  • n-type & p-type thermistors as sample to study.
